Two-fer for USDA Secretary?
Chris Clayton discusses possible picks for Secretary, including a Hispanic woman from Texas with previous USDA experience.
USDA is vitally important to Trump--he's devoted one transition team member to the entire department!!!

The interesting thing is with a small (1)person transition team in place there is no one to put the brakes on the current group as they make policy in the last few weeks before their departure. In some cases these policy decisions will have significant impacts well into the new Administration.
Apparently the Texans weren't pretty enough, so Trump is looking to Georgia, ex. gov Sonny Perdue, as a possibility.
I would have said not much new policy is being made now, but the papers are playing up the number of actions/hires the Obama administration is now making, so maybe my views are obsolete.
